New Glasgow Lesbians Drama, Lip Service coming to BBC3 woohoo!

Finally a Glasgow L Word or Lesbian Drama TV Show has been commissioned by the BBC so we can see some lesbians in Glasgow living their lesbian lives!

The lesbian drama will be filmed in Glasgow too and no doubt in the Glasgow Lesbian Scene pubs, bars and clubs, yes all 5 or so of them lol.

I was browsing my @GlasgowLesbians messages on Twitter when one of my twitter mates, Lizzie the Lezzie (Fab Girl, to follow her on twitter click this : Lizzy The Lezzy and to watch the Lizzy The Lezzy Cartoons on You Tube click here) sent me a message about a new lesbian drama based in Glasgow.

I can honestly say I got very excited, how sad is my life lol, that I had to search the mighty Google and find out more!

Ok, so we know it’s a lesbian drama and it will be based in sunny Glasgow.

It will be filled with a group of aged 20 something lesbians.

There will be 6 x 1 hour lesbian drama filled episodes, yummy right!

It will tell the tale of the lesbians, their sex lives and their love affairs and it will of course centre around the Glasgow Gay Scene amongst other places.

The new Glasgow Lesbian Drama will be titled, drum roll please…

Lip Service

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the hot sexy twentysomething year old lesbians who will star in our new tv show, because the show has not been cast yet.

So any budding glasgow lesbian actresses should be hot footing it to the auditions, of which I have no information sorry!

I can imagine auditions for finding lesbians in Glasgow would be more popular than the Glasgow Big Brother Auditions and even the Glasgow X Factor Auditions, all the little lesbians in Glasgow want to be famous and crave attention at the best of times.

Anyway the Glasgow lesbian drama Lip Service has been written Harriet Braun, who also worked on the first series of Mistresses (and we all liked the lesbians in that right?) and she also co-created Attachments (never heard of that one lol).

Lip Service will be produced by Kudos Film and Television in Glasgow later this year, as soon as there is further information on Lip Service I will let all you desperate lesbians know.

Harriet Braun stated that she based this lesbian drama on her own experiences and those of her lesbian friends.

She wanted to write a sexy, funny and irreverent drama that reflects what it is to be a young lesbian woman living in Britain today.

Harriet also said “I loved The L Word but it’s high time we saw some contemporary British lesbians, with all the bad weather, trips to the pub and repressed emotions that go with that.  It will be as funny as it is pathos filled, because in my experience that’s how life is.”

Sound likes a fab lesbian drama in the making, I just hope they cast some hot lesbians and don’t give us hot looking Glasgow Lesbians a bad name!

I look forward to watching Lip Service and if they need any lesbians for extras me and my glasgow lesbian subscribers will be happy to oblige!

Hopefully Lip Service will be a big success in Glasgow, the UK and worldwide then it might just bring some hot lesbian visitors to the Glasgow Lesbian Gay Scene!
